Testimonials

Your centre certainly is amazing, I went from a centre where Makayla cried every morning I left, to a place where both her and I felt like part of a loving family. She has thrived being able to play more outside and learn about gardening and chickens. I will never find a centre to compare to yours..."
The Michaels Family.

"All the teachers at Country Life have made an easy transition for myself going back to work full time, knowing my child is safe and in good hands. Every day I'm surprised with all the new songs, words and expressions Sophia comes home with. I could never imagine being a part of another day care family."

School Readiness Program

Country Life Child Care Centre offers an extensive School Readiness program for children in their preschool year based on the National Early Years Leaning Framework. The Framework has a strong emphasis on play-based learning as play is the best vehicle for young children’s learning providing the most appropriate stimulus for brain development. The Framework also recognises the importance of communication and language (including early literacy and numeracy and social and emotional development).

We believe the value of play is of utmost importance to children as it is their way of learning about their world. While children are playing they are able to express their creative ability, release emotions and can share their feelings.

We aim to guide your child in becoming an effective learner through creating an environment that is challenging and stimulating. The overall aim of our program is to help your child in developing all areas necessary for success now and in later years
At Country Life Child Care Centre we have our School Readiness program commencing from March until the end of the year.

Some key areas covered in our preschool program include:-

    • Social
    • Self Help Skills
    • Language and Literacy Skills
    • Pre Academic Skills

By providing numerous opportunities to learn through varied experiences and activities, children are equipping themselves with those essential skills preparing them for the transition to school.

The aforementioned are not essential criteria in determining if a child is ready for school as each child is an individual. These are the guidelines for children who attend Kindergarten but if your child does not meet the requirements fully, it does not necessarily mean that he/she is not ready for school. Each child develops at an individual stage.

The most important factors associated with a successful start and continued learning in school are related to a child’s social and emotional maturity.

Graduation Ceremony
We hold a special Graduation Ceremony for the preschool children at the end of each year. This is held in traditional style. The children wear the graduation outfit (cape and gown) and are awarded their Graduation Certificate.
